Please keep Kathy Pride & Family in your thoughts and prayers

It is with sadness that I relay a message of the passing of Kathy Pride's father early this morning. I just got off the phone with Kathy and, although grieving, she kept expressing how blessed she is to have such great friends and appreciates the prayers, love, and support that everyone is so generously giving. As in typical Kathy spirit, she radiates a positive outlook. Our continued support and prayers are sure to aid Kathy as she begins the healing process of losing a parent--a very special parent.

It sometimes takes a tragic loss or time of grief and pain to realize how much love and support surround us. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Please also know that your diva sisters are with you during this time and that you are not alone. My most sincere condolences.

Kathy I am sooo sorry about your loss....It is sad that it takes so long in life for us to realize what a treasure our parents are and to feel "blessed" by their presence...I know you will miss him but remember to live each day as he would have and keep his legacy alive and prospering.....Take care of you my friend, I will be here praying you through!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Try to focus on your happy memories and celebrate the life you shared. Allow yourself time to grieve - all too often, we try to hurry up and "get over it" but you have to take as much time as you need. It took me a year to get over the initial grief of losing my Mom.

We love and support you in your time of need.

I just got off the phone with Kathy. She wants to thank everyone for their prayers. She has felt all of them during this crisis and they have helped more than any of us will ever know.

Kathy asks for continued prayer. In the aftermath of her father's passing, spiritual attacks have occurred and continue to occur. She asks for prayers of strength and protection in this matter. She is not able to go into details at this time but God knows all the details and that is all that matters!

Thank you again, Divas, for all your prayers and support. It has been incredible.

Just popping in to check on Kathy....I pray you through daily sister Diva....I know the loss is still fresh but know that as the Season's warm Spring brings new life and new hope for a bright future....Never stop taking the time you need to say goodbye but place yourself in the the Joy your dad must be experiencing at the feet of the Master....Time heals and you will use this to grow and become stronger....
