I too am now working from home due to my MS issues....I am processing insurance claims for several major carriers....I work all over the United States so it is possible that if you have a current claim on anything I may be the voice on the phone getting your statement lol....You will recognize that "Texas Twang" I am sure....

I destress by playing games on a site called King.com so go check it out and if you join give them my user name won't you? Txshunnie that's me gals....You can play for $$$ or if your like me for free but I have played for $$$ and won a few bucks problem is there is always someone better and I usually lose them......The last tournament I won $10.00 and considering I invested $.35 cents to play that is not a bad return.....If you send me an email at txshunnie@yahoo.com I will invite you to join and we can challenge each other....

Thanks Barb -
I feel the same way about my kids. Have to be very intentional about spending time with them & letting everything else fade away .

Prioritize the list. Do what's most urgent and let the rest slide. I've had my Mom here for the past two weeks. I work from home. I get a little stressed when I'm trying to get my computer work done and I hear her say "I don't know what to do." She has to be kept busy. She leaves today. Although she may get to me when I'm rushing to meet a deadline I'll miss hearing her. I wish she'd stay longer.

I knew you Texas Diva's would get a kick outta this giggle!

book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there.

Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs andmaking notes.

He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute."

Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to GOD.

The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle , Phoenix , Salt Lake City , Denver , Oklahoma City, and around the United States , he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor.

Finally, he arrived in Texas , upon entering a church in Dallas , Texas , behold - he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read "Calls: 35 cents."

Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, "Reverend, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to GOD, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call.

Why?"

I love this part................

The pastor, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in Texas now ... You're in God's Country, It's a local call."

Just thought I would stop by and share a giggle!

Where is God?
A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?".

They boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone, "Where is God!!?" Again the boy made no attempt to answer. So the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face and bellowed, "WHERE IS GOD!?"

The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked, "What happened?"

The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied, "We are in BIG trouble this time, dude. God is missing - and they think WE did it!"

"Hot water now comes out of both taps" - Now when it comes to filling up a wading pool for the kids that's handy here in the south. Up north you fill up the pool early in the morning and wait for it to get warm enough to get in.

Texas Giggle

Difference Between Yankee Zoo & Texas Zoo

What's the real difference between a Yankee Zoo and a Texas Zoo?

On the cage, a Yankee Zoo will have the name of the animal and then the scientific name in Latin.

Whereas, a Texas Zoo will have the name of the animal and the recipe.....!

You know you are in Texas when...

The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.

The trees are whistling for the dogs.

The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.

Hot water now comes out of both taps.

You can make sun tea instantly.

You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.

The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a little chilly.

You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.

You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.

You actually burn your hand opening the car door.

You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.

Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"

You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.

The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to

do is pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper.

Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs.

The cows are giving evaporated milk.
