Connie Pombo is an inspirational speaker, author, and mentoring specialist. She is the author of
Trading Ashes for Roses: From Pain to Passion and contributing author to numerous books, including
Chicken Soup for the Coffee Lover’s Soul and
Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers. She is the Founder and Executive Director of
Women’s Mentoring Ministries in Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania, where she mentors women into roles of speaking and writing. Connie is a 12-year breast cancer survivor and is a speaker for the National Cancer Survivors Day Network and Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Speaker’s Association. She writes for print and online publications, including: Momlogic, ClubMom (Café Mom), Coping with Cancer Magazine, and Breast Cancer Wellness. Connie is thankful she had sons because as a third generation breast cancer survivor, she didn’t want to pass along any more pink ribbons.
