My grandson was here tonight. He's only 12, almost 13 months. I love to hear him jabber and try to talk. He walks all over the place, stumbles a lot and loves to pick weeds and dandilions out of the yard. He is so precious!

I too have been praying for Katie and I'm glad to see these reports and updates. Hey Barb, how are things with your son? Did he and his wife ever get back together? I've had him in my prayers for a while too.
How's Katie? She's on my prayer list and I've prayed for her, the church as well as her family during this time. Just wondering how things were going with her.

Born and raised in Richmond Kentucky, Darlene hasn't strayed too far from her roots. The Southern Baptist Church where she is a member and serves is the same church that she's attended her whole life. She is married to the only man she has ever loved and has been married to him for over thirty-three years. Together they have a son, daughter in law and a grandson.
She has achieved success in her job as Chief Deputy Clerk in the Madison County District Court Clerk's office where she supervises and coaches approximately twenty deputy clerks. She is highly respected by the judicial staff and legal community. She has served her community through civic clubs and her church. Darlene is a graduate of Leadership Madison County, Richmond Citizens Police Academy, and Richmond Merchants Academy.
Darlene has over thirty years experience in team development, organization, mediation, coaching women in the workplace and in the church setting. She is the author of several articles related to family, marriage and faith. Her website and blog are dedicated to the preservation of family memories and local church history. Through online contacts, she answers emails from women who have read her articles and are seeking advice in regards to their marriages. In her spare time, Darlene writes for her blog and contributes to several on-line magazines.
She is patiently waiting to hear from a publisher who has accepted her book proposal for review.

SENSATIONAL FARE COOKBOOKS
Hello Divas,
Just wanted you to know that I self published a cookbook using recipes submitted by the Deputy Court Clerks in Madison District Court here in Richmond Kentucky. We are selling the cookbooks for $8.00 each. The collection includes around 60 scrumptious recipes. All recipes have been cooked and served by deputy clerks at some of our pot-lucks and Christmas gatherings. The project began in order for us to have an organized way to have a copy of each of our co-worker's recipes.

A Diva Update
Hey friends, I just wanted to check in and let you know about my projects.
I've been busy working on my "Girlfriends on Marriage" book, article writing and working full time in our court system. It is so hard to find time to fit in my writing, but I've managed to get in a few good days.
My almost eleven month old grandson takes a large chunk of my time, but I love every minute spent with him. He isn't walking completly by himself, but he's taken as many as three steps before realizing he wasn'… Continue

Bad Luck Diva
I just have to tell someone about last evening.
I received a phone call from my daughter-in-law who said, "I have the worst luck."
I knew instantly that this phone call was going to cost me money. She hit a curb with her back tire and it tore a hole in the tire. Luckily she had just dropped my son off at his office. He was able to change the tire for her.
Because both she and my son are still in school, she in nursing school and he is about half way through seminary and they have a nine month… Continue
